Illuminated Glow Brick Night Lights

Illuminated Glow Brick Night Lights

This is one of the coolest, most innovative illuminated decor products I have ever seen.

It is basically a tinted light bulb, in an acrylic cube.

Alright, maybe it isn’t in the top 10 of coolest illuminated products ever, but I was struck by the creativity.

The best part of this night light, is that it runs on solar power. All day long it soaks up light, and then at night it illuminates the room.

The website selling these bulbs, genr8.biz doesn’t mention whether they have an on off switch, or exactly how brite the bulb is. They do however mention that they are available in two colors, green, and blue.

Not the best picture but it gets the job done.

These bulbs are really unique, and are kind of edgy. They are almost creepy. They would look really cool in a haunted house, or a Halloween party. Especially suspended from the ceiling by invisible thread.

On the other hand, the light they emit is relatively gentle, and it is probably relatively soothing. Green and blue are both known to be calming colors.

I could definitely see this in a kids room. Or possibly in my crazy persons dream house.

I also think they would be rather attractive in a rustic basement setting. The basement of a house is usually wasted space, so you are allowed to get a little more creative down there than you do in the rest of the home. Place these throughout, by whatever windows you may have, and in the evening you will create an intimate getaway which you can use for quiet moments, and personal thoughts.

Couple this with an illuminated crystal mantel clock. The light from the cube will bounce off of the stones many crystal points, creating a beautiful and unique illuminated display.
