Hope Lights Lives Illuminates Greenwich
The Greenwich Post distributed an article online recently speaking about ‘Hope Lights Lives’, a fundraiser which is designed to support the Center for Hope and The Den for Grieving Kids, Family Centers’ programs.
On Sunday, Dec. 16, at 5 p.m, residents of Greenwich and surrounding communities are being asked to light luminary candles as a show of support for people grieving or living with illness. Money is being raised by the sale of candle kits. These kits consist of 12 tea light candles, 12 plastic candle holders, and 12 luminary bags, and they sell for $25 a piece.
The entire program is being run by more than 600 volunteers. Last year they were able to sell more than 7500 luminary kits which raised over $180,000 for the program.
For more information, or to purchase uminary kits, the Greenwich Post asks that you contact Gloria Veeder at 869-4848
