Disney House Mouse Home Decor to Help Housing Market
With a slumping housing market, KB Home has signed a deal with Disney to feature their Disney Branded home furnishings in several model homes in Florida, according to the Sun Sentinal. The initial project will feature 8 houses near disney world in Florida.
This is an interesting way to help sell homes. While the disney products may not be enough of a selling point to move houses on their own, they do offer enough of a novelty that they will draw interested buyers in more readily.
Anyone who has kids knows how hard it is dragging them from house to house when you are searching for a new home. A disney branded house makes the trip at least a little more interesting for them, making it easier on the parents.
KB Home also has the chance to gets its name out there more by piggybacking on the disney brand. Hey, they wouldn;t be mentioned here iof they hadn’t made the deal, right?
And of course Disney furthers its own agenda by reinforcing their line of decorative products as powerful and desireable.
